My name is Elander. My love and enthusiasm for Tarot has been a wonderful journey. It all started over 30 years ago when I was introduced to Tarot by my grandma. I was born in the town known as the Prince of Bishops. “Do you know it”. I specialise in Tarot, I am also a qualified Reiki Practitioner, Reiki is a complementary therapy that can treat physical, mental and emotional problems. Free ‘absentee’ healings using crystals to channel energy is offered with all Tarot readings. Absentee or distance healing allows healing energy to be transmitted to anyone in their home with successful results comparable with 'hands on' healing. As qualified Reiki practitioners we offer healings for all our tarot customers and their friends.

Tarot History. Let me give you a brief insight into the history of Tarot. Tarot is basically a system of guidance. Tarot cards have been around for a long time, some say even from the time of Ancient Egypt. For centuries the cards with all the array of excitement and mystery have been used as a source to tell fortunes and predict their future. No source has definitive or concrete proof of where the Tarot originated. Most researchers and authorities connect the Tarot to the esoteric and Mystery Schools of antiquity. They have been long associated with Gypsies, but were used by the nobility of Europe as well. The earliest deck known is believed to have originated around the mid-fifteenth century in Europe. The deck was used for playing a popular card game long before it was used for fortune telling. The word Tarot is an adaptation from the word tarocchi, which is what the game was generally called. The deck from that time that still exist now is the Visconti-Sforza deck after the two noble families in Renaissance Italy. Today there are many decks. The tarot cards carry an aura of mystery about them. Tarot is a mesh of symbols and numbers that convey meanings to its users. Almost the same as the alphabet or hieroglyphs. It is a way of communication that can be used to access the path of spiritual process and growth. Tarot cards are a unique tool for reaching into areas of our consciousness. It defies time and space. More than fortune telling the Tarot gives us important information for our journey and helps point the way to our fulfilment in life.
